Pakistan: The Ummah Wants to Fight, but the Rulers Hold It Back

On the morning of Wednesday, May 7th, India launched a series of military strikes – named “Operation Sindoor” – in six areas across Azad Kashmir and Punjab in Pakistan.
Copying the playbook of the Americans and their Zionist tools, the Hindutva Regime said that it struck nine sites “from where terrorist attacks…have been planned,” while, in truth, it bombed civilian targets – including masajid – and murdered innocent children, women, and men. While official Pakistani estimates peg the casualties at 26 deaths, locals on the ground reported that the death toll was higher.
But Alhamdulillah, by the Will of Allah (SWT), the mujahideen pilots and soldiers in the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) and Pakistan Army (PA) swiftly rose to defend the Ummah in Pakistan and retaliated with full force. Within minutes of the Hindutva Regime’s attacks, reports filtered in of the PAF shooting down the first Indian Air Force (IAF) fighter aircraft.
By the end of the first day of fighting, which saw 27 Pakistani fighter aircraft against 70 Indian ones in the air, the PAF reported shooting down 5 IAF fighter aircraft. Third-party assessments have awarded at least 2 of the kills to the PAF, of which at least 1 was a Dassault Rafale, which India said was the best fighter in the world.
Before the conflict, India thumped its chest and claimed the French-built Rafale was superior to anything Pakistan had, and Modi even said that if India had the Rafale back in 2019 (when it previously fought Pakistan), the “outcome” (where India lost in the air) would have been different.
Yet, in reality, the Rafale – ironically the very first one delivered to India by France (BS001) – was shot down on the first day of the fighting, potentially being the first one of all fighter aircraft to fall. Moreover, not only did Pakistan down Indian aircraft, but it did not lose a single one of its own!
Allah (SWT) Grants Victory
What does this show us?
It shows us that no matter what technology or power the Kuffar bring, the One who decides victory is none other than Allah (SWT), the Greatest Power without equal.
When the Ummah rises to fight for the right cause – like defending Muslims and carrying Islam to the world – Allah (SWT) gives His support. India thought it had the decisive advantage in both numbers and technology against Pakistan, yet none of that protected it from a humiliating defeat on the first day where it lost its best fighter and, potentially, nearly a billion dollars’ worth of other fighters. It also lost the pride and confidence it put in the Rafale, which was the first to fall.
In a way, the world was witness to Allah (SWT)’s promise to the Army of Talut when they faced Jalut, which was far greater in number and strength to them:
“How many times has a small force vanquished a mighty army by the Will of Allah! And Allah is ˹always˺ with the steadfast.” [TMQ 2:249]
However, the Ummah in Pakistan – aware that fighting in self-defence is not enough to end the real threat – actively pressured its military to enter India, liberate Kashmir, and take the fight to the Hindutva Regime. From Peshawar to Dhaka, the Ummah calls upon its mujahideen in the Pakistan Army and the PAF to liberate al-Hind, once and for all.
Unfortunately, as with every time the Ummah awakens and begins to rally, its rulers stood in the way of the Ummah and, worse, sabotaged the victory so that it becomes defeat.
O Muslims in Pakistan, Remove the Rulers, NOW!
When India began its attacks on May 7th, one thing became clear, very quickly: the rulers (i.e., the top-most generals, among them the Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir, and the crony Pakistan “Muslim” League government of Shahbaz Sharif) and the operational-level officers of the Army, Navy, and Air Force were not on the same page.
Just as reports of India’s attacks surfaced, the Pakistani ruling regime tried feeding the Ummah empty promises, saying it would “respond at a time and place of its choosing.” But the regime seemed unaware that the courageous sons of the Ummah in the military already started fighting back.
Pakistan’s air defence systems were activated, and its fighter aircraft were in the air. Each pilot and soldier understood that their people were being attacked, and they showed that their loyalty is with the Ummah, not with the regime.
In fact, reports emerged that the PAF specifically went out of its way to hunt down the Indian aircraft that fired missiles and bombs at Pakistani civilians, to the point they even shot those fighters down while they were in India! India’s forces were on the backfoot on May 07.
However, despite gaining the advantage, the Pakistani regime killed the momentum by stopping the Army and the PAF from pressing forward and capitalizing on India’s panic.
Worse, the regime’s key officials, such as Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar or Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, went to Western news broadcasters such as CNN and Sky to show a meek and embarrassing image that betrayed the Ummah’s valour and made Pakistan the laughing stock of its enemies.
Then, the following night, India carried out a second wave of strikes against Pakistani cities – this time with drones, further exposing their cowardice and inability to fight man-to-man, or even fighter jet to fighter jet. Now, as the Muslims in Pakistan call on unbarred, full-out retaliation and a permanent end to the Hindutva Regime (which wants to annihilate the Muslims in South Asia), the regime, from General Munir to PM Sharif, wanted to ‘exercise restraint’ and ‘de-escalate.’
By needlessly delaying the military’s counteroffensive against India’s attacks on May 08-09, the Pakistani regime granted the Hindutva regime time to continue attacking Pakistan’s military installations and, worse, move its own aircraft, missiles, and other assets further east, away from Pakistan’s reach.
Then, as public pressure in Pakistan reached a boiling point following yet another Indian attack on May 09, the Pakistani regime finally let the Pakistani military retaliate on May 10.
That day, the Pakistani military launched its counteroffensive, Operation Bunyaan-al-Marsus, a reference to the Ayah:
“Surely Allah loves those who fight in His cause in ˹solid˺ ranks as if they were one concrete structure.” [TMQ 61:4]
The name of the counteroffensive echoed what the Ummah in Pakistan wanted: Jihad. However, the regime betrayed both its people and their cause by giving India time to prepare for the operation, which did not inflict as much damage as it could have if it had been done on May 7th.
Shortly after Pakistan’s counteroffensive began, the U.S. then conveniently stepped in to ‘mediate’ a ceasefire between the two nuclear powers, just at the time when public opinion and military action in Pakistan began steering towards Jihad.
The Ummah in Pakistan still wants to take the fight to the Hindutva Regime. The society is aware that the issue is no longer just about Kashmir, but about other matters too, such as Pakistan’s long-term water and food security. India wants to manipulate and choke the flow of river water into Pakistan in a bid to cripple over 70% of Pakistan’s agriculture.
Both the Ummah, and the thousands of sincere officers in the Pakistani military, see the gravity of the Hindutva threat. Everyone is aware that the only pathway to real security and progress is to cross the border and liberate Kashmir.
However, the Pakistani regime, which is another slave of the colonialist powers, especially America, proactively works to prevent the Ummah from rising to the challenge.
This problem is not unique to Pakistan either. Just as the Ummah in Bangladesh ejected Hasina the tyrant, the tools of the colonialist powers stepped in to deflate the Ummah’s energy. Just as the Ummah ejected the tyrant Bashar in Syria, the agents of the colonialists’ powers stepped in to both deflate the Ummah’s victory, but then preserve the al-Assad regime.
However, with its military strength intact and momentum in hand, the Ummah has the golden opportunity to turn the tide, starting in Kashmir. It must start by removing the regime as well as the Capitalist system imposed on our Ummah.
The Ummah must restore the Khilafah Rashidah and, under the flag of the Khalifah, lead the liberation of Kashmir, al Shaam, and beyond. This is the opportunity for the Ummah in Pakistan to merit leadership and honour from Allah (SWT).
The second Khalifah, Umar ibn al-Khattab (RA), said:
“Verily, we were a disgraceful people and Allah honored us with Islam. If we seek honor from anything besides that with which Allah honored us, Allah will disgrace us.” [al-Mustadrak ‘alá al-Ṣaḥīḥayn 207]
Call to Action – Carry This Message!
This is a call to action to the local community to carry this message to your relatives – especially those within or with any connection to the militaries in the Muslim lands.
We, as a global Ummah, must carry this same call. We must actively and vocally call upon the sincere officers and soldiers in Algeria, Egypt, Turkiye, Pakistan, and all other Muslim lands to dismiss the regimes and fight to protect Muslims, be it in Gaza, in East Turkestan, in Arakan, in Sudan, and everywhere Muslims are persecuted.
We in Canada have shown our ability to mobilize our voice, but is it not time to direct it towards those who are willing to fight for Islam and for Muslims? Why waste it for votes?
By Allah (SWT)’s will, this call could reach the Saad ibn Muadh (RA) of today, the Ansari who gave authority to Islam during the time of Rasul’Allah (SAW) and, insha’Allah, lead to the restoration of the Khilafah Rashida.
